I've smelled them in the shop, and I've had decants of about half of them. 1932 caught my attention at my most recent visit to the shop, so that's one I'd like to wear soon. I like mainstream Chanel, most of their scents.
Chanel Egoiste is a very good scent. I have compared this to Trumper Sandalwood and I stand by that comparison. Egoiste is drier and more of the cedarwood projects itself as it dries down and works to completion as the scent fades. No. 22's incense is dry (not creamy) sandalwood, a little smoky, and very beautiful, a little bit like the incense in vintage My Sin, and there is an delicious overlay of white floral notes. I used up a decant of No.22 EDT from the 1990's, I believe, which could probably be called vintage. In my opinion, all three concentrations have enough "best" aspects about them to be able to justify owning all three fragrances without being redundant. I like different features of all three of the fragrances while still being able to appreciate the same DNA across the line as well.
