Many Omega collectors overlook them but do so to their disadvantage in my opinion, a healthy Broad Arrow is an excellent watch and this movement is in a family that has been used by AP, VC, Panerai, Blancpain, Breguet etc, with Omega being the lowest tier manufacturer to actually implement it! I just picked up a Speedmaster Broad Arrow GMT 3581.50.00 and didn't see a lot of recent discussion so I thought I'd share a few thoughts for anyone contemplating this watch. The Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow is definitly my favourite modern chronograph, taking best of both worlds : the vintage design inspiration and the modern specifications you can expect from a high end brand. The broad arrow hour hand, pointed minute hand, subdial hands, Omega logo/name, and applied indices are all blued. In direct sunlight, it’s a dark blue that pops due to how shiny and reflective they are. Each indice is a trapezoidal shape, giving it some extra surfaces to catch reflections.
