Love both styles, but for the price difference, I'd personally go with the classic (since it's timeless) and save that extra money for your next Chanel. It does exist! And I own one! I had the same question and went on a rabbit hole of digging years ago. I think in one of the seasonal collections in 97 or 98 Chanel did make shw for their trendy woc. But they are very rare.
I have a mini WOC and I love it. The strap drop on the regular WOC is too long for me (I’m 5’5”) but the mini is perfect. Holds my iPhone X, cards, mask, car key fob and lip gloss. Great for running around on an average day and doesn’t scream Chanel.The top plate that says Chanel is beautiful. A perfect pale gold with black lettering. Honestly it looks too shiny but that’s just because it hasn’t had a chance to get beat up yet.The trendy CC has a newer model where the CC logo has a swirly design as well as the Chanel on top. I have handled that in store and omg, it’s so beautiful! XiaoC also has that model.
