Rolex unveils two new versions of the GMT-Master II, both equipped with a Cerachrom bezel insert in grey and black ceramic. Made of Oystersteel, they offer more discreet colour tones, subtly revealing their personality by way of a green 24‑hour hand. So while the grey/black isn't earth shattering, it's peak-Rolex in a comforting way. Everything about the new GRNR (for lack of a consensus nickname yet) is basically like every other 126710. The stainless steel case is 40mm by 12mm, and the watch comes with choice of Jubilee or Oyster bracelet.

Innovative high-technology. This model features a black dial and a two-colour Cerachrom bezel insert in green and black ceramic. In addition to conventional hour, minute and seconds hands, the GMT-Master II features an arrow-tipped hand, which circles the dial once every 24 hours, as well as a bidirectional rotatable 24-hour graduated bezel.While the previous stainless steel model only featured small splashes of green, the new GMT-Master II 126720VTNR turns things up a notch by swapping out the green name on its dial for a green and black split-color bezel made from Rolex’s proprietary Cerachrom ceramic material. Looking at the watch, I could see a vibrant green on the GMT hand and the same color on the bezel – the exact same green as on the Submariner Date. From here, I developed a loose theory about how Rolex landed on green for this release. While rumors swirled about a "Coke" or even "Blueberry" Rolex GMT-Master II, we got something totally different today from Rolex, with the new stainless steel 126710GRNR with a grey and black bezel.

The bolder applied indices, iconic Mercedes handset, lollipop running seconds hand, and arrow-shaped GMT hand all remain as they were – offering ample luminescence in the dark. What is new, or rather returning, is green ‘GMT-MASTER II’ text and a green-coated stem for the GMT hand.
